WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
I am based in Cape Town, South Africa. But I am available to travel where ever i need to go.
DO YOU TRAVEL FOR WEDDINGS?
YES! I love to travel.
Please note that depending on the location and distance that there may be additional travel and accommodation costs charged. However all of this will be discussed during our consultation/communications.
HOW DOES THE BOOKING PROCESS WORK?
In order to book my services for your wedding or shoot a 30% booking fee is required with the outstanding balance due 10 days before your shoot date.
CAN YOU DESCRIBE YOUR STYLE?
My work is natural, non-obtrusive but with direction and guidance given as needed. My editing style is warm, 'moody' but still an accurate representation of all the colours on your wedding day.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE BOOK YOU?
For weddings i only accept bookings 18 months in advance. For smaller lifestyle shoots i only take bookings two months in advance.
DO YOU OFFER VIDEO AS WELL?
Regretfully not, however I am happy to recommend some incredible videographers that also have a natural/documentary feel to their films.
HOW LONG UNTIL WE RECEIVE OUR WEDDING PHOTOS?
Two days after your wedding date you will receive a preview consisting of roughly 50 photographs (dependent on how many hours are booked). The rest of your images will take 10 - 12 weeks to complete and will be delivered in an online gallery for sharing and download.
CAN WE GET THE RAW/UNEDITED IMAGES?
Unfortunately not.
CAN WE BOOK ADDITIONAL TIME ON THE DAY IF THINGS RUN LATE?
Absolutely! Additional hours can be arranged before the wedding date or on the day. Please note that this will be dependent on location of the venue and safety driving back.
CAN YOU EDIT YOUR PHOTOGRAPHS IN A DIFFERENT STYLE?
My shooting style and editing style go hand in hand and it has taken a long time and a lot of trial and error to get the two to a place where i feel they compliment one another. Regretfully i cannot edit your images in a different style to mine, therefore i strongly suggest you familiarise yourself with my work before booking my services.
DO YOU REQUIRE FOOD ON THE WEDDING DAY?
Yes Please! We are on our feet for ages and the chance to sit down for a few minutes, eat and re-energize is and will be very much appreciated.
HOW MANY PHOTOGRAPHERS ARE INCLUDED IN YOUR PACKAGES?
All of my wedding packages include one photographer. However a second photographer can be added if need be. For weddings with more than 80 guests, or if things are far apart on your wedding day, i would strongly suggest booking a second photographer in my package.
CAN YOU DO TABLE PHOTOGRAPHS?
Given the documentary approach i take when photographing weddings, unfortunately not. However if there are any guests that you would like photographs with, please grab me so we can take some photographs.
WHAT IF YOU FALL ILL OR CANNOT MAKE IT TO OUR WEDDING DAY?
I understand how scary this could be to couples. Should anything happen, i have a network of very reliable, incredible photographers that i will have stand in my place. All editing and image selections will still be done by me.
